Today, we are thrilled to announce The Disco Ball as our first StoryCo production. We have partnered with Kyle Killen and shelby and sandy - our first Story Architect and Story Artists respectively - to bring The Disco Ball to life. This is an exciting milestone as we continue our journey to unlock the potential of every creator and fan around the world.
Kyle Killen is an incredible television writer and producer. He is known for creating the shows Halo (Paramount +), Fear Street (Netflix), Lone Star (Fox), and Awake (NBC). He has been nominated for several awards, including a Primetime Emmy and a Writers Guild of America Award. We are pairing Kyle with world-renowned artists shelby and sandy.
shelby and sandy’s artwork is coveted by some of the biggest celebrities and collectors in the world, including Drake, Margot Robbie, Kendall Jenner, Zac Efron, Mariah Carey, Bradley Cooper, the Museum of Contemporary Art - Los Angeles, and more.

Through this partnership, Kyle is creating a new story universe called The Disco Ball, while shelby and sandy are creating the character and story art that will become an immersive part of the storytelling experience. We will be taking our community on an immersive and interactive storytelling experience where they will become participants inside the actual story. Collectively, we are creating a new form of production that web3 uniquely unlocks.
The Disco Ball follows Captain Alma Cooke and her team of astronauts on the International Space Station as they are thrust into an existential journey to save the multiverse - a journey that can only be completed with your help. By deciphering clues, solving puzzles, and participating in real-life and digital experiences with other members of the community, we will assist Alma and her crew as they fight forces that seek to end the Universe as we know it.
The Disco Ball production is a creative melting pot, with people from all corners of the globe invited to contribute content and ideas. Not only will they get to learn from Kyle and our team, but they'll also be rewarded for their efforts. We want StoryCo to serve as both an educational hub and a supportive tight-knit community for those passionate about storytelling.
Once the core cannon of The Disco Ball is told so that the community understands the universe and characters, creatives and storytellers from across the world will be invited to build new expansive stories within The Disco Ball universe. The Disco Ball universe will live within its own DAO where the community of NFT holders will help govern a shared treasury that will be used to expand the production. StoryCo and the Story DAO Producer Token Members will support The Disco Ball DAO by helping build the production, community, business, technology, and legal infrastructure needed to enable our community to make the most compelling productions possible.
