We've got some big news, storytellers. We are announcing the launch of our new brand, StoryCo (www.story.co), in anticipation of the release of our platform and first production. We believe that our new brand more accurately conveys our mission of unlocking the potential of every creator and fan around the world by building an open storytelling platform.
The "co" in our name represents our values of co-ownership and collaboration, and we're confident that this approach will lead to the creation of truly innovative and engaging stories that will captivate audiences around the world.

Our first community bounty is now live. We’re on the hunt for a storyboard artist who can help bring a key part of our first production to life. This is a paid opportunity that will be taking place over the next several weeks as we prepare to launch our inaugural community project. If you or anyone you know has a solid storyboard and/or concept art portfolio, please encourage them to apply here! Application deadline 1/18.

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve hired our new Community Team!
Craig (@Tree), Caroline (@SweetCaroline), and Stephen (@beaver0) are all Producer Token Community Members who we’ve had the distinct pleasure of getting to know over the past few months since forming the community. They are creative, dedicated, experienced, and have shown up time and time again. As we move into 2023, they’ll be picking up the reigns, hosting our community events, and identifying new ways to engage the wonderful team of creatives that have circled up around StoryCo. LFG, y'all!
🗳 Passed Community Proposals
Last month we passed our first 2 community proposals! One is related to our first bounty (info in the Contribute section below) and the other is about adding new members to the Producer Token Community. Huge thanks to some of our major contributors @GCal, @Yvonne, @beaver0, and all the others who added their voices to the conversation.
🔎 Community Screening of Sam Kadi’s The Citizen:
Just before the end of the year, we had a very special screening of our own Producer Token Community member Sam Kadi’s award-winning film *The Citizen* (2013), which follows the story of an Arab Immigrant who wins the U.S. Green Card lottery and arrives at JFK airport one day before the events of 9/11. Sam has been an incredible member of the Producer community since last year and we’re honored that he made time to delve back into his first feature-length film with us and share some of the incredible stories behind how it came to life.

👥 Weekly Meetups Have a new Format Speed Relating:
Our weekly meetup is changing forms! We’ve been experimenting with something called Speed Relating, where we get people on the call into pairs and have them respond to prompts as a way to quickly get to know each other. Our experiments with this so far have been AWESOME and a great way to build more personal relationships between members.
